Can someone tell me what Electricity cost per KwH here in Pattaya?

The exact price charged at the utility office please I know about the extra charges from Condos or rented houses I only want to know the correct price at the utility office.

1. Customer with installed meter less than 5 Amp. 220V 1 Phase 2 Wires is classified under 1.1.1 . If monthly consumption is more than 150 KWh. for 3 consecutive months, the customer will be reclassified under 1.1.2 in the next month; and if monthly consumption is not more than 150 KWh. for 3 consecutive months, the customer will be reclassified under 1.1.1 in the next month.
2. Customer with installed meter over 5 Amp. 220V 1 Phase 2 Wires is classified under 1.1.2 .
3. Schedule 1.2, if meter is installed on the low voltage side of customer's transformer, another 2% must be added to energy consumption in order to compensate for transformer losses.
4. Schedule 1.2 is an optional rate and shall not be able to switch back to schedule 1.1. The customer will be responsible for any additional cost of installing and removing any equipment required to meter or deliver this service.

Ft Charge

Ft Charge is the additional expenditure which is altered by the oil price. PEA will calculate by using the ratio of cost of production that is increased on the period.

Ft charge for the period of June - September 2008 is 0.6285 Baht/unit

Generation (G) 0.6937 Baht

Transportation (T) - 0.0241 Baht

Distribution (D)) - 0.0411Baht

Who should consider that? Everyone? One particular poster? And what usage are you referring to? No one actually mentioned any specific consumption levels in this thread, I think.

It also rather depends on where you live: I'm not sure many condo buildings would allow giant transformers on the balcony and separate HV (High Voltage) power lines running into one unit!

Power consumed is power consumed whether it is transformed down or not. The voltage in your house has already been transformed from High Voltage at the power station to 220v at your house. You pay for kilowatts, end of story

If you use > 30kW, and have your own transformer (so you buy HV) your price per kWh drops.
