Police arrest Police after mobile phone shop raid in East Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- Two Border Police Officers were arrested by Banglamung Police late on Thursday Night after they were accused of using irregular tactics in executing a search of a mobile phone shop located in East Pattaya. A group of 6 men, all thought to be Police Officers and armed with guns entered the “Wish Mobile Shop” in Soi Siam Country Club and began to seize mobile phones which the officers claimed were being sold without a valid license to do so. The visit was later checked against Police records and had been earlier authorized by Copyright Violation Officials to conduct the search.
