I dont click on links, also why dont you give me your opinion and not yhe opinion of someone else

Especially links that contain content that you don't like!

How would I know if i like it or not if I don't click it, and also now I know what it is it matters not one jot, as I have already asked, does she see herself as his clone?

I don't have an opinion on the matter. I merely linked to a report quoting Thaksin as saying his sister is his clone.

Try this one

In an interview with Australia's ABC channel, the former Thai leader said the businesswoman contesting premiership in Jul'3 election is not a 'puppet' for him or anyone else, though he admitted, she may share same thoughts, working style and other characteristics with him. Mr Thaksin said Ms Yingluck might be sarcastically viewed as a 'clone,' given their being hereditarily related, but not a 'puppet.'

So he does not actually say she is his clone, that is a journalists interpretation.

It is not about getting a female PM, it is about whoever is leading the PTP will be PM< in this case it happens to be a female,

...

Do you think Chalerm or Chavalit would have much of a chance of winning an election as the leader of PTP? I think they would turn quite a few voters off.

I have not looked into this, and not being a voter myself can not give you an opinion on how I would vote, but if pushed i would say it would not matter and ptp will still get the votes, not only based on their policies but also based on the failure of the dems to do anything worthwhile during their undeserved tenure.

Neither Chalerm nor Chavalit would break the 30% barrier. Probably not the 25% barrier. PTP is all about exploiting the flaws in Thai character/culture. Suay= good. Kamoey if he drops a tiny percentage of the money to us = good. BTW could you expound on those policies you mention?

Thaksin Interview For Yingluck

"She's my youngest sister. She 's worked for me from the beginning. So I teach her, I train her, the working habit style is nearly exactly like me."

"If my sister was there (in power), I'd find it unnecessary for me to return as prime minister again,"

"Reconciliation is the priority, not the amnesty. Reconciliation: amnesty may be part of it, but not all."

"Bring back the unity for the country first. In the process, bring back unity of the country. I'm part of that. Then, I might benefit of part of it, but I don't care much because I'm quite settled outside. But I just want things to move forward. I want to see the country unity."

Thaksin Shinawatra reassured on Monday his sister, Yingluck, is no puppet for anyone, including himself, to pull around.

Kentucky State - bwah!

Looks like another Sarah Pailin

What sort of qualifications does Yingluck have to run a nation?

Thailand, I swear its politics and culture mirror the US more and more every day.

Kentucky State - bwah!

It's hard to know wher to start. Should we start with the first language which is Ebonics or that it's a "paper mill".

Ah I get it, if you post a link we all have to accept it as gospel, if I respond with a link that dismisses your link I am accused of working for a newspaper and posting bullshit, now I see how this works

mmmmmm I would say the dems exploit the flaws in Thai society much more by using the class system also to their advantage, can't win an election?? no problem, do a deal with the army and we get to run the country. Corruption and elitism at its finest, two of Thailand flaws, Sadly once they were given this chance it would be more than fair to say they screwed it up, the voters knew they would, that is why they didn't get elected :whistling:

Just a quick question here L & G, WHAT QUALIFIES YINGLUCK TO BE A PM? Thanks.

Just a quick question here L & G, WHAT QUALIFIES YINGLUCK TO BE A PM? Thanks.

She got a masters at a third tier university in the US.

She was appointed to top positions of Thaksin's companies, one where she looked after 20 million customers.

She's been around corrupt politicians most of her life.

Is that enough qualification?

edit: and I forgot one quality that is important to many red shirt supporters: She's suay.

She got a masters at a third tier university in the US. WELL, IS THAT ENOUGH QUALIFICATION TO BE A PM??

She was appointed to top positions of Thaksin's companies, one where she looked after 20 million customers. WELL SURE SHE WOULD, SHE IS HIS SISTER FOR GOD SAKE!!

She's been around corrupt politicians most of her life. MOST OF HER LIFE?! FROM WHICH AGE? WHEN SHE WAS BORN?! SHE IS IN HER 40s right ?

Is that enough qualification?

edit: and I forgot one quality that is important to many red shirt supporters: She's suay. HUH!

Since psychopaths are usually very smart, they can be quite competent at impersonating regular human beings in positions of power. Since they don't care how their actions affect people, they can rise to great height in enterprises dealing with power and money. They can manufacture bombs or run hospitals.Whatever the undertaking, it is all the same to them. It's just business.

Your post about psychopaths and business reminds me of the documentary The Corporation (On YouTube:

), based on the book by Joel Bakan. A corporation's highest priority is profit, whilst factors like peoples' wellbeing and the environment are irrelevant (or annoyances in the case that they have to address them due to regulations), so the success of a corporation may depend on the psychopathic nature of its leaders.

Thaksin obviously fits this description, does Yingluck?

We know the Shinawatra clan has plenty of business interests in Thailand (SHINAWATRA’S BUSINESS NETWORK) and around the world (mines in Africa). Yingluck also stated that she will run Thailand like a corporation. The potential for conflict of interest is massive. Would they put their own business interests first before the people's interests?

Does Abhisit, Newin, Sondhi, Sonthi and anyone else you can name, I believe so.

Does Abhisit have many business interests in Thailand (or anywhere)?

Edited by hyperdimension

I hope they are ready because it is what they are about to get.

On another note, I guess most people would also take a soi dog as PM over abhisit having sen how he fared.

and the reds would vote for a soi dog if Thaksin told them to.
