Technical Center manager – Windows system

Job Description

The Technical Center Manager – Windows System is responsible for

- Managing the Windows server platform deployed in Agoda’s datacenters

- Experience managing Windows systems, specifically in the area of Active Directory, Microsoft Internet Information Server and SQL Server

- Managing the Windows Server team, dealing with 3^rd party vendors and coordinating with remote support staff

- Maximize the team’s effectiveness to deliver on the company objectives while being responsible for daily team activity

- Acting as escalation point for staffs to be able to hit the ground running in a fast-moving, technology-oriented and multi-cultural environment,

Key role requirements

· At least 5 years of in-depth experience working with the Windows Server platform.

· Practical experience working with and complex network environments

· Proven management abilities, capable of leading and growing a successful team in a fast paced environment.

· Detail oriented, process driven with a sense of ownership for both the team and service delivered.

· Good English speaking, reading and writing skills.

Desired skills

· Exposure to SAN/NAS systems

· Working with complex web hosting environments

· Knowledge of IBM/HP/Juniper/Cisco/F5 hardware would beneficial.

· Knowledge of ITIL IT management principles & best practices<br style="mso-special-character:line-break"><br style="mso-special-character:line-break">

Education

Candidate should have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
