Neeranam Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 (edited) My wife is applying for a UK visitors visa. She had one less than 2 years ago. She applied then when she was working and had good bank records, but now she hasn't been working and I am going to say, maybe foolishly, that I will be paying for everything, which I am. Maybe I am worrying unnecessarily, as I am going to send my bank books which only show about 30,000 a month for the last six months. Should I borrow some cash(large amount, which is no real problem) and show that in my account or would they suss that one out? Any thoughts/experience/advice/warnings appreciated. NN Shoot, wrong forum, could a mod mone it please to the Migration one. Edited October 15, 2005 by Neeranam
GU22 Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Any large unexplained amounts suddenly appearing in your bank will instantly arouse the ECOs suspicion. Don't do it.
astral Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 You do not say how long you have been married. At least 2 years from what you have said, and that should establish that your marriage is not one of convenience. Therefore you wife is entitled to visit the UK and even stay for 3 years and apply for citizenship. I hope she obeyed the visa rules the last time and did not overstay. Good luck.
