i live in koh phangan, and i have a few short trips planned and one long (2 week) one in the next two months. i have a puppy and i don't want to leave her alone for that long. there is no place to take care of her in phangan, even the animal care place said no. is there a kennel in samui that i can leave her at? if so, is it expensive?

In Samui, Hong Hong Pet Shop, just outside of Nathon has a kennel a few minutes from their shop down the road to Samsara. Used to be 200 baht a day. Good and clean and real nice people. Food, etc. included.

Try the Dogfather in Maenam. Michael (from Switserland) is a really nice guy and very good with dogs. He has several dogkennels in a nice surrounding and really takes good care of the dogs. Contact him at 01 78 73 701. We always bring our 3 dogs there and they really love going!
