ZeroDesire
Hello fellow members, I've traveled between US and Thailand many times for over a decade. Eventually I plan to settle down (or retired) in Thailand. I've heard that Thailand started collecting credit history similar to the 3 major credit bureaus in the US. I would like to start building credit history now before moving to Thailand in the future. I think having a credit card and pay on time would be a good start. Since I'm still living in the US, I would like to have a card that I can use and pay the balance here (preferably US dollar denominated without currency conversion cumbersome). I always pay full balance. So, interest rate doesn't matter. I have very good credit score here (over 800). Can I show that to Thai bank? Can you guys give me some advise which cards to apply? Thank you, Patrick
