Negotiating With The Motorcycle Dealer When Buying A New Bike

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to buy a Versys in about a week or two. Wondering what the 285,000 baht includes:

1. The bike

2. Registration

3. Tax?

4. plates ?

Extras I need:

1. First class insurance

2. Anything else?

Do people usually just get first class insurance from the dealer?

ps I searched for this subject and was surprised to find nothing.

The price at Kawasaki is for the bike. Everything else is extra.

Registration and government insurance for my 650r was 1,350 baht. First class insurance was 12,891 baht. Versys numbe s are similar but the first class insurance is closer to 14,000 baht. I had Kawasaki arrange the first class insurance as it's easy, everything is ready for you when you pick up the bike. Just go back after 2 or 3 weeks to collect the green book and number plates.
