Yeah its bit out my price, looking for close bars, pool, beach and good times

^You are presumably looking for somewhere in Patong. Not trying to be unhelpful, but I think your best bet is to Google 'accommodation Patong' (or wherever else you wish to stay) and find something that suits your needs and price range.

CNN Hotel on 200 Year Rd. (there are two, one is out of town, NOT that one).

When I was a young lad like yourself on holiday here, I used to step up for the VIP room. Has the big bathtub, good times.

Strategically located across from Tiger Disco.

lots of reasonable places on soi san sabi

look up the sea breeze

Check out Expat hotel. Just stayed there. Great location in a little garden 200 m from Bangla behind PS hotel.. Great staff, food, pool and a bar with a great party every friday. Close to it all.

my vote also is go for CNN and ask for a room on the front/high floor and no breakfast.

Book it before nov as CNN fills up and ur going in the high season

Expat is a 20 year old dump

I second the Expat. Cosy little resort 5 minutes walk from the hustle & bustle. Always book for friends looking for a bit of action in Patong. Good prices, clean rooms, friendly staff. Google expat Patong for booking agencies.

tell us your budget next time mate! :D

May be so, LiK, but i think you'll find there is a wide selection of alternatives that are better value for money. Expat would be near the bottom of my list.

Ok Ping, I'm not going to get into a big issue about this. I respect you opinion, and I trust you respect my opinion. I just happen to like the Expat environment, so I give it my stamp of approval .... B) for a few days RnR on a budget then I think the Expat is just fine.
