European Film Festival In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

I read the other day in the Bangkok Post that this film festival starts in Bangkok this weekend and will come to Chiang Mai on the 21st of July. I have always enjoyed watching a few of these movies as do other ex-pats. It exists because of our attendance and support...

I would like to know what/where would be the best source for either a printed or on-line version of the movie schedule with dates and times. The article mentioned it will be playing this year indoors (yeah) at Kad Suan Kaew....

Thanks.....

Thanks for the heads-up and good news that it's returned to KSK. We tried sit through a movie at their outdoor location last year and had to leave because of mosquitos and the heat/humidity.

I really miss the Thomat Chiang Mai film blog and hope he can return (at least temporarily) to help us make good decisions about the movies that are part of the festival.

More importantly, how were the toilets at last years festival? Do you think they will be better or worse after the move to KSK?

Actually, the toilets at last year's event were much better than at KSK. All I had to do was take a little stroll down to the Chedi and pretend I was a guest at the hotel to use their great facilities.
