Almost Drowned The Dtx250 Today

Featured Replies

I just got a set of dirt rims on my D-Tracker 250 and had to test out the Pirelli MT21s.

Thanks to the GPS location from BigBikeBKK I went to scope out the Mit Maitri area where the recent kawasaki Versys day was held.

It was very muddy so this boring video is me sliding around.

On a dry day, this place would be awesome to mess around in.

This video is of me heading home through this giant puddle and just making it through.

I lost my house keys in the puddle as my Givi box popped open when I hit the wall of water.

I think I shorted the bike's spark plug as the water was only half bike deep.

Location is here for anyone with a dirt bike or bicycle.

Ha ha!!! Fantastic stuff!

Yeah, I nearly drowned my Versys blasting through that flooded section of access road too. My feet were well submerged through that section so I reckon the water was a good 2 feet deep.

Did you get your KLX wheels and knobbies sorted on the D-Tracker? I imagine it would have been very tough going on a D-Tracker with road tires!

Drop me a line next time you head that way again as it's only 15 minutes from my house and really it's probably not very wise to go there alone should you have an accident or mechanical issue and require assistance.

Ride On!

Tony
