90 Day Australian Non O Visa Extension Possible?

Featured Replies

a friend has a non O 90 day one entry visa on an australian passport. he wants to stay an extra 34 days ie 124 days total, and believes he can simply get a 30 day extension on tipping up to local immigration office.

is this possible at all.

i assumed his 90 days was final and advised him to leave kingdom for a few days on day 90 return by air for a 30 day visa-on arrival and job sorted.

what can the locals/experts here advize please?

I am not visa expert but it seems to me your mate should just jump on a plain or bus and do a visa run to loas or cambodia.

good luck

The most he could get is 7 days and that might require proof of air ticket out show.

He could travel to Vientiane or PP or Malaysia and get a tourist visa - return the next day and be set for the 34 days (and more later when he decides to stay longer again). Or the few days out air or land (2 times).

as definitive a reply as i could ask for.

thankyou for confirmation.

Go out for 4 days on last day and fly back in and get 30 days?
