This English Language Training School is well established after more than nine years of successful trade. Located in an office complex on one of Bangkok's major inner city thoroughfares, the business has become available for acquisition due to the impending retirement of one of the owners, and the wishes of the other partner to take a well deserved break. Fully audited accounts show that receipts totaling 10,887,700 baht yielded net profits of 4,958,954 baht in 2009. The main overheads are salaries that average 300,000 baht per month (117,000 baht for 8 full time employees, plus remuneration due to part time staff) and rent that is payable at a rate of 22,000 baht per month for premises measuring roughly 110 square metres.

An attractive asking price has been set to achieve a quick business transfer; this basically equates to asset value (300,000 baht) plus 18 months' earnings. Both owners are planning to remain in Thailand, and will make themselves available for a suitable training period during the handover phase.

The business currently provides over 70 training courses for employees of mostly multinational corporations. Trade continues to thrive, as net profits have risen from 3,512,510 baht in 2006, 4,248,921 in 2007 and 4,422,677 in 2008 to almost 5,000,000 baht last year. Trends show no sign of reversing, and the owners are confident that the 5,000,000 baht barrier will be comfortably breached during the current financial year.

In-house training accounts for 70 percent of income. All teaching is conducted at the customers' premises, using wide ranging materials that have been created to provide specific design courses tailored to meet the requirements of individual corporations. Workshops of two or three days' duration are implemented, along with computer based training programs which account for another 15 percent of income. All employees have been thoroughly trained and are able to carry out the day to day running of the enterprise without supervision.

A promising start has been made to the 2011 financial year, with sales eclipsing 1,000,000 Baht in the month of March. The business is forecasted to continue its growth during 2011 and the owners are happy to include the limited company as part of the sale, with availability for 2 work permits.
