I just extended my Non-immigrant "0" Visa at Sakon Nakhon. Things went very smoothly. I had of course the form and picture, copies of all my passport pages, a letter from the Canadian Embassy showing I had a monthly income of over ฿65,000, and copies of my tax forms from Canada to prove it. They then asked me for a copy of my wife's ID card and her House Registration Papers (they did not ask for a copy of our marriage certificate). They then asked for a copy of my bank book, that's it. I would like to thank the poster who mentioned they wanted a copy of your bank book, otherwise I would not have had it. It didn't seem to matter how much money was in the bank. I deposited ฿30,000 that day for a total of ฿30,750. They extended my Visa for another year and marked RETIREMENT on it. All in all everything went very well. Issangeorge.

Did you have to show two months income for the embassy letter, for immigration, or just proof of one months income?

Word here has been that recently immigration wanted to see two months income, or embassy affidavit and copies of two months deposits, not the previous one month.
