Can Farang Connection Be Popular Again

Ok so I know this has been closed before, but does anybody believe that sunee has the appetite to make the FC good again.I have offered help, but so far she personally has not responded.Brian has tried to do his best, but I think even he is a bit downhearted, because sunee has not showed to him that she has the heart to go for it. What about the few regulars who go there everyday, are they happy to see it go down the drain, or would they like to see it rise from the ashes, maybe rename the bar "the farang phoenix" I am just so sad that nothing has happened, that indicates that FC is on it's way back. So come on you regulars give us your thoughts. Finally I am amazed that on both the other threads we never had any imput from "Dave the Dude " I really thought he loved this place.

There is an awful lot more competition now than there ever was before, so this will hinder progress. I like the FC and hope it doesn't go under but whether or not it can regain such a large market share of farangs is another question, I doubt it, just because of the top quality competition.

Okay, I'll enter into this with a few questions of my own. What is your interest in this? What is Brian's? Why are you so concerned about this Farang Connection and whether it carries on or not?

I'm not a bar-going type of person. I have been, I understand the concept, but I find other things to do with my time every day other than go to a bar and drink and pass time with other people with the same likes. Very much like the television program Cheers, where "everyone knows your name". Is this what all this is about, you miss what "it used to be"?

Life goes on, you must understand this. People change, people get other interests, people don't continue to do the same, same, same things day after day. Whether the Farang Connection stays the same or doesn't, it really shouldn't matter as much as all these posts seem to want to know. Get a life, get a hobby, try learning something new each day instead of doing the same, same, same things every day. Take up golf or bowling or bird-watching or anything.....Jeesh.

Okay, I'm done, just curious what all this is really about. If all you want is a bar to go to every, every, every, every day...there are many. Look around.

I can only add that Mario has summed it up quite nicely. As some just can't move on.
