Which Police Are Very Bad?

Featured Replies

Came across a great one today circulating the Thai webboards.

Here is a question in Thai language.

พันตำรวจโทคนไหนชั่วสุด

It basically is asking the question 'which police are very bad?'

Copy and paste it into Google translate and see what it translates to in English.

It will crack you up... well it cracked me up :)

Enjoy.

I am inclined to agree

Those translators are getting smarter all the time. Is this artificial intelligence in action? :D

Nah.... it's irony in action.

At the moment it's translating it as:

Police Lieutenant Colonel and his people.

Guess Thaksin has complained.

What was it translating as before?

What was it translating as before?

Apparently Google Translate [TH->En] was yesterday translating พันตำรวจโทคนไหนชั่วสุด (Who's the most evil Police Lieutenant Colonel?) as 'Thaksin Shinawat and his people'.

It was at one time possible to make online translation suggestions on the Google Translate webpage to improve the translation of a specific piece of text. So maybe that's how it was done, with some wag suggesting Thaksin's name as the translation of the question.
