Hello peeps. A Thai friend of mine once told me that taxis can charge more to Farang by selecting a different tariff on the meter. Does anyone know if this is true?

Double pricing, Farang, Sinsot and the Thai's reckless attack on the Foreign monetary input that non-nationals provide in the local economy.

Just show the taxi driver your work permit and you'll get the Thai price

Or learn to speak enough Thai to tell them your destination. Look 'em in the eye for about 5 seconds and don't forget the na krap, or na kha. Works every time!

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then the "farang" fare applies to you until you stop calling yourself a "farang".
