Fishing In Lamai

Featured Replies

Today I drove past Lamai coming from Nathon.

Just outside Buddy on the ring road there was a group off men around a drainage cover.

First I thought there had been an accident.

I slowed down and when I past I saw one man fish up a huge catfish on a line from the drainage.

So, if you like catfish and live in Lamai then.......

1. Stop eating catfish.

2. Go fishing.

quality wonder if by eaten the car fish maybe in a funy way we are re-cycling food.

I think there's plenty of those in the Chaweng lake as well. In fact, there are fishes jumping every time I walk across that little bridge near Petchbancha boxing stadium.

They've even made a small bamboo pier nearby to fish from.

thaks for the info. was going to book a fishing tour now i am going to save money and look for a draine hole .)

I was just about to ask escatly the same question. What is it like this time of year. not including the storms that are coming and going

Close to shore, you will catch fairly small fish. You have to go further out to get some decent size.
