I've been looking at purchasing a pool table for our house. Two good options I have found so far are:

http://www.bosssnooker.com/

and

Sovereign

Quite different products, with drastically different prices. Seems one of the big differences is slate vs. granite. Boss Snooker has granite. From my research, this is probably not the best for climates like Thailand. I guess it's due to the humidity and the "wicking" properties of slate. Keeping the felt drier and allowing for "faster" play.

I like the prices of Boss, but love the Sovereign products. Just apprehensive due to the much higher prices. Boss is 45-60k and Sovereign are over 100k...but are beautiful!

So...would love to hear from you on slate vs. granite...as well as maybe some other options? I've been looking for second hand tables also, but no luck so far for an 8', non-coin operated one. :(

Thanks!!

At The Ball In Hand pool room.

It is on the right side of Soi 4

At the corner where Jools and The Tavern are,

turn right in to the driveway and it is

directly across from The Raja Hotel.

Walk up one flight of stairs and look left.

They sell very good tables in all price ranges.

Ask for Henning.
