Bank Account Hacking

Have anyone had this trouble before

Missus went to the bank today and was told by the bank that someone had tried to hack into our account via internet banking. The account has never been opened with internet banking and we dont keep large amounts of money in it I just use it to transfur a bit of extra money now and then via internet bank. The missus got worried and withdrawed all the money. And rang me I check my accounts and every thing seems OK

Are you sure you have the information right? How could your account be accessed by internet if it is not set up for internet access? Why would the bank even say anything to you in that case?

Perhaps it was via ATM or Phone access? A good time to change the PIN in that case. And to double check the slot you put card in before you do so; and never use unmarked atm machines which seem to have appeared recently.

Experienced similar situation but not in Thailand. It finally boiled down to the bank's internet banking being not secure enough.

I have transfured money via internet banking to that account but it has never been set up to be used open or accessed by internet banking
