Any Problems With Mobile Service In Samui

trying to get hold of a couple of mates on samui but every time i try i get a recorded message, i was wondering if anybody knows if ther is a problem with the mobile networks on samui at moment.

not sure wat networks they are on one begins 1084 and the other one 9292

been trying since new years eve no luck so far so any info would be well received

I am on Samui (North East near Chaeweng) at the moment and just done a network search and my phone shows AIS, DTAC and Orange. I am personally on AIS and that is definately working and haven't had any problems for the 4 months I have been here.

How do you dial the numbers? With or without the leading zero?

Never had any problems getting coverage on Samui not matter where I went even on the ferry over. ( AIS )

Strange numbers you are quoting though? They on Hutch or something?
