Hi

I am about to take out house insurance and wonder if anybody knows the attitude to flood damage

The house has never been flooded but the road outside maybe once a year may flood following very high rain fall, making me worry if it could get inside

The insurance does cover floods but I wonder if they have some get out, maybe drains caused the problem or if we were flooded that we didnt take some particular precaution

Any experience in Thailand would be useful
