Changing Tourist To Ed Visa Within The Country?

Hi,

Is it possible to change an "active" tourist visa to an ED visa without leaving the country?

I figured i just go to chaeng wattana with the paper work from the school and they change my tourist visa into an ED visa?

You can try, but unless it is a university I suspect they will tell you o apply in a neihbouring country.

When i first applied for ED 2 1/2 years ago in Bkk, school owner went with us & my friend could get it but i had less than 3 weeks left of my visa so i had to go Vientiene.

Nowadays the school state that they won't go with students to bkk, anyone applying for a 1st year ED visa must go abroad.
