Hundreds demonstrate across Egypt to demand Israeli ambassador's expulsion

CAIRO (BNO NEWS) -- Hundreds of Egyptians on Friday called on their government to expel Israel's ambassador and condemned Israel's attack on Egyptian soldiers, the Al-Ahram state-owned newspaper reported.

Hundreds of people gathered outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo and in the governorates of Alexandria, Qalioubiya and Suez to protest the border incident last week when five Egyptian policemen were killed by Israeli Defense Forces. A Facebook invitation to demonstrate on Friday was sent out as a response to the killings.

The incident occurred on August 19 following a series of attacks that began when gunmen opened fire against a bus in the southern Israeli city of Eliat, which is located at the northern tip of the Red Sea and borders Egypt. Five Egyptian security personnel were killed when Israeli soldiers were pursuing Gaza militants after the attack.

Following the killings, thousands of Egyptians took to the streets to demand that the Israeli ambassador be expelled. One Egyptian young man climbed 13 floors to bring down the Israeli flag in protest.

It gives them something to b*tch about when Israel kicks their butt again and takes the Sinai back for violating the Camp David Accords. ;)

The protests are precisely what the terorists wanted to accomplish and the Egyptian mobs are playing along. I anticipate that more terrorists will disguise themselves as Egyptiian military and police personnel and continue to attack Israel.

In the meantime, the USA should show empathy with the protestors and cut off the bililons in military aid to Egypt.

If Egypt cancels the treaty, Israel is within her rights to take back the SINAI.

The drumbeats of war are beating louder, some Egyptians want Eilat back, which was a 1948 loss not even a 1967 one.

More trouble from the Islamic takeover of Egypt. Here it goes -- Muslims going after Jewish land. I hope that Israel is thinking out of the box. If Egypt goes after Israeli land, Israel will be forced to take back the Sinai. If the deal is off -- then the deal is off.

I thought the so-called Arab Spring was supposed to usher in democracy, respect for human rights, altruism, peace, universal brotherhood, respect for individual dignity, and an ecumenical spirit. Did CNN and the BBC fail to tell us the truth???
