The Best Bar In Pattaya

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Well I suppose we all have our favorites (for various reasons).

I can`t really say what mine is,as I like to "butterfly" from bar to bar.

Everytime I get a favorite,it has closed the next time I come back...

Well what about these past and present.

Peter`s bar for a nice all day breakfast.

Jan Bar(Roo bar) good crack and also canny food (although frequented by Aussies!!!)

Den Bar open all day and night at least it used to be.

Best friend Bar Thai boxing

King Kong !!!!!!(Never been but have heard its good)

PumpStation (Friend has just come home and said very good....services)

Black and White Small but good music.

19th hole Pool/Snooker

Talk of the Toon had lovely decor and friendly staff.......

Comments please chaps.

Coming soon (if you pardon the pun).

Anywhere new that I should check out?????

Ruby soi 6.

KK is excellent.

PumpStation is not really a place to hang out. Its 30 mins in and out.

None of the above are suitable if you are shy.

My favourite bar in Pattaya is Lek bar near the bottom of Soi 7.

Its a no hassle place and a great place for chilling and watching the circus roll by. Charlie and Lek are smashing people and make for good company when you get a bit fed up of the constant 'where you come from, why you hab lorng hair too mut, I go with you etc'

Charlie has a great choice of music and you will always get your preference on at some stage.

Apart from there I like anywhere where the music is good, the women are not a pain, and the atmosphere is good.

I misread the thread and thought it said, Best Car in Pattaya...That would be the Black Lamborghini...or one of the Testarossas' all from the same place...

As for the best bar, it all depends on how much you have had to drink, I thought Climax was good untill I went in sober the next time..... :o

King Kong !!!!!!(Never been but have heard its good)

I would have to disagree with that one.

Never liked the place, never liked the girls attitudes. Money No 1 - Customer a distant second place.

But each to their own.

But what is the best bar in Pattaya, I have a few favourites. But surely the Wonderful Bar on Second Road is the busiest, that place must make a fortune.

I disagree as my experiences have all been positive.

Twice have been offered freebies, one "you not cum, no pay". (I paid. :o )

The other I ended up living with for a few weeks when we were both short of folding. Another willingly scored wacky tobaccy for me.

Thirteen different girls, never a problem.

Anyway, horses for courses.

Cheers.

From what I remember TQ1's prices are quite steep at over 100 baht for a small draught beer. Neveda,Far East Rock and Hot and Cold agogos around the corner from TQ1 offer far better value than TQ1 IMHO.

It's hard to single out one bar as being the best but I do know that the best bar I ever went to in my hometown in England wouldn't even get into my top fifty bars in Pattaya.

The Best Bar in Pattaya undoubtably is:- Your Fav at the time, they come and go, Winchester (BB) now is down, from being the best daytime bar, Butterfly now is ok in the day, a year ago is was dubious, some places you click, finding these places is half the fun! :o

Cheers

What a shame!!!

Peter used to do all the cooking himself.

He was getting on though,I think he was in his 70`s.

The only place in Pattaya that I ever got "English bacon, sausage, black pud etc etc".

TQ1, great music, friendly staff, the girls actually dance and reasonable prices. Great for an afternoon session.

Second that 100% Sir Burr.

After half an hour of darkness acclimatisation,it's spot on for an afternoon session,

and a great blimp too! :o

ALL THOSE BARS AND SO LITTLE TIME!!!!!!!!!!

..and the thing with Pattaya is that even after all these recommendations, you'll probably just go and find a heap of bars not mentioned here which are right up your street.

Theres a new complex just off walking street that has Catz Go Go in. By all accounts, looking good and worth checking out.

The new Catz gogo is owned by some very smart and experienced Pattaya sanukers. They know what people like and know how to give it to them.

Drop in and chat with Robert and Pieman, good guys.

No, I do not have any shares in this place.

Going to the Bars in Patters is like painting the fourth bridge. If you start off at Soi2 and worked your way up and down every Soi and then down Walking street. By the time you had finished and started again, a load would have shut down and re-opened as something else :o

Best Bar ?

Well, there's the FLB Bar, Polo, Crasanovas, Blue Chili, Blues Factory, Lucifers, all of soi 7, in fact, all of Pattaya !

Last I heard, there were over 3,000 registered beer bars (not including a-go-go's, discos, unregistered bars and underground karaoke clubs).

Which is the best ? Well, it's like most of the girls say;

"Up To You ! " :o
