Red Shirts Qualified For Posts: Yingluck

I think the former FM in the Democrat government is a yellow shirt....why was he given the post..a lot of members here are color blind.. :bah:

It would be double standards for the reds who complained about that to sit by and let all these red shirts get cushy government positions, wouldn't it?

True.

Another aspect is that the role Kasit played with the yellows pales in comparison to the roles these nominations play with the Red Shirts.

Re: airport closures if I'm not mistaken...

For the obviously unaware.

These PTP nominations are Red Shirt Leaders.

Kasit was never even close to ever being a leader (notwithstanding his impressive CV that shunima posted).

As said, to reiterate the obvious disparity, the role Kasit played with the yellows pales in comparison to the roles these nominations play with the Red Shirts.

Yes ... do you remember all the videos of Kasit telling the yellow shirts to burn the place to the ground? I must have missed them.

But as I said above, if you are so against Kasit being given a role in the government, I suppose you will now be complaining about these red shirt leaders getting a role as well.

Can't be having double standards now, can we?

Worawat claims the reds deserve posts because they were elected...... They WEREN'T. They were each given places on the party list. Nobody voted for them in a constituency.

Same as Yingluck. And we've all witnessed her lack of ability to carry out her appointed role last week.

This government is an absolute joke.

No it is not a joke. It is all part of a longer term plan.

Having red shirts in as 'advisors' or 'secretaries' is Thaksin's way of putting in hard-line commissars to firstly report back to him that ministers are not straying from the Thaksin line and secondly kick them out at first sign of disobedience. Remember he has ministers' undated resignation letters in his pocket. The thuggery is applied to the PT. Know their place. Their sole function is to get Thaksin back.

I wonder if he has Yingluck's resignation letter as well.

Or will he just cut her strings?

Nevermind. These Nation articles are just incitement. I'm withdrawing.

Can we please take that as a promise from you?

But before you go, let's have your comment on yingluck's statement that these red shirt characters are qualified to be ministerial secretaries, etc etc.

Re: airport closures if I'm not mistaken...

Was he the guy from the Dem's who said (of the PAD occupation of the airports in 2008) that it "was a lot of fun and the food was really good"

Yingluck is absolutely correct, many of the red shirts do possess all of the qualifications to work for the current govt. These would include:

1. Totally corrupt.

2. Uneducated.

3. Criminally minded.

4. Committed to absolving Thaksin as their top priority, in return for a lump sum upon his reinstatement.

5. Obsessively greedy.

6. Criminal record (a must have).

...to name but a few.

Many red shirt candidates possess these endearing qualities, and soooo much more, so YES, they would be a 'good fit' in the current Thai government. It's just one big happy family, working selflessly and tirelessly towards a brighter future for everyone. God bless them all. :D

I forgot the main qualification, the one which will qualify anyone to hold a ministerial position under Yinkluck, even if they fall short on the above list... a pulse.

With the OP 'Red-shirts qualified for posts: Yingluck' I can only assume that the same high standards used to select PM Yingluck's cabinet have been applied to these people. Equally knowledgable and capable people. Hand-picked each and every one of them, nothing to do with the colour of their shirt ;)

Looping I fear you have made a spelling mistake in your post .rolleyes.gif

The word, ''purse is not spelt thus, ''pulse." rolleyes.gif

I use the word purse in it American vein rather than my own U.K. vein.

The "fix" been in since 2 days after the election. Why are so many people surprised?

I just check the newspapers and other information sites every few days to see what the next crisis will be. So far I have not been effected by any of these going on's. Once it does effect me to the point of irritation or cost, I can always jump on an airplane and head elsewhere.

Sort of:

- the thugs watching the thieves, but maybe this formula could turn turkey and become the thugs protecting the thieves / the thugs in cahouts with the thieves, or how long can the thugs keep their patience for the promised cash from the paymaster?

it's alright to insinuate scumbag elements of the red shirts (pictured) as government members but apparently you can't respond to this by comparing scumbag elements of pad as government members, go figure
