High School Certification

A friend of mine, Thai national, wishes to complete her last 2 years of high school, in order to continue on to university.

Any ideas where this can be done in Chiang Mai: night school, private classes, etc?

If she's still 14 she can go back to regular school no?

My Thai wife is currently doing just that - so for sure it can be done.

The school that she attends on Sunday mornings is Kot Sor Nor - Hang Dong. In fact the school is located at Nam Phrare a ittle way down the Canal Road. So I guess it depends if she has transport. Feel free to PM if yu wish further details.

Kor Sor Nor is the program for Thais to finish highschool and you can find the program pretty much anywhere. There will be evening classes set up mostly in a local school. They used to have it at the school half way up Rachamankha Rd and probably quite a few other places.

Trying to think of a central education office to ask, but must admit can't think if there is actually a headquarters for education. maybe just try asking at any big government school or your local govt office.

Thank you for the correction. My wife had spelt it corrently when she wrtote it down for me. I just have difficulty reading her handwriting at times - I suppose just like other folk do mine !
