I was at the free Thai Visa party in The Olde Bell, Chiang Mai last year and that was true for some but by no means all. By pure chance I'm in town for this one too and think it will be fun

Not necessarily true Alina, some of us are just not night owls but would like to meet other forum members. I will come early and only stay a couple of hours but not because of the free food or booze, just to meet and socialize a bit. My wife and I are usually in bed around ten so we are not late night partiers which may be the case for a lot of attendees.
