What is the operation needed?

his inside ankle have fracture

It is not the right time now to start doing price comparisons. A few baht here and there won't make much of a difference when he needs to have surgery.

I just call McCormick , they said around 15,000 . Maybe will go there

i'm quite sure you can not do that type of operation cheaper than 50 000-60 000thb in thailand.

Ram, lanna, mccormick are all more expensive than that.

the one hospital at suthep road, next to some medical school, was very cheap when i had to go there.

but i think surgery like that is going to cost over 50 000thb everywhere.

Try Rajavej Hospital

Rajavej

I was impressed when I took my son there when he broke his ankle. I then referred a friend there who had a nasty ankle injury that wouldn't heal. They redid the immobilisation dressing which they said had been done far too tightly. After that it started to heal quickly.

I always use Rajavej too, touch wood Ive never needed anything more than treatment for a sprained ankle but I would go there if I needed to.

Rajavej did a good job with a friend who needed a hip replacement and the price was much less than what other friends have paid for similar procedures at CM Ram. Their doctors speak English and many of the nurses are comfortable with English, as well.

If the accident is the result of a a traffic accident, then perhaps the insurance company for the motorist would pay for the surgery.

I can vouch for the McCormick Hospital.

I had to have minor surgery for a blocked pour in my leg, being left with a 2 cm long X 1 cm wide X 2 cm deep open hole.

No infections, with daily cleaning.

I would have no hesitation going back for any medical procedures.
