kenny999
What are the best things to eat to help with your digestive system, I am lucky if I go to number 2 once a week and normally always constipated, been taking laxatives just now and then but that gives you stomach aches, any advice on a better diet? chiliwasabi
Psyllium Husks are great for keeping regular (without urgency). They also assist in reducing cholesterol and help train your intestines to function in an orderly fashion.

kenny999
If l eat prawn yum-yum noodles, no other, guaranteed clear out. Is this very spicy as when I eat spicy food it does the job quickly. But any more than 1 chilli and it is not enjoyable.. maccaroni man
i was suffering from ibs as well and had a hard time passing a good stool until i changed my eating habits and began eating less meat, more broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and carrots. I snack on raisins and prunes in limited amounts i.e. one or 2 palm fulls a couple of times a day and drink a tall glass of water every meal. very regular and healthy today. I like coffee but my specialist told me that for every cup of coffee I drank then I needed to increased my water intake cup for cup. I cut my coffee intake from 10+ cups a day down to 3 a day other wise I was up for 5+ litres of water a day.

I've seen it in GMC shops before but more expensive. Don't know about Tesco but any pharmacy including Tesco's should at least sell Metamucil or Fybogel sachets which are psyllium based with an orange flavor.
