hello everyone firse post here just looking for some advice any help would be great cheers.

i met a thai girl 5 years ago and after 6 months of living together in thailand we married and we managed to get a uk settlement visa for her to return with me to england. we were happy together for 18 months but around that period we started to argue quite alot and ended up seperated, she returned to thailand after about 20 months of staying in england, we kept in contact and on good terms even when i returned to thailand in 2010 to arrange our divorce, we even kept in contact after our divorce and started seeing each other again at the tail end of last year. i stayed with her in thailand from febuary to may of this year and durring this time she become pregnant with my child, the baby is due end of january. i now plan to bring her on a fiance visa with the baby back to the uk to live with me. what i want to know is will our previous marraige and divorce have any influence on this new application? does the fact we have a child together have any benificial influence on the application?

anyhelp would be great cheers.

Simple answers;

No and no.

She will have to start the whole settlement process all over again, and should briefly explain in that application the history of your relationship.

Your child will be a dual Thai/British citizen, so if born in Thailand you should obtain a British passport for him/her so s/he will not need a visa for the UK. Good idea to get a Thai one as well, whether born in Thailand or the UK, so they can enter Thailand without restriction, too.

For the British passport see How to apply from Thailand (First time applications).
