Gas Equipment For Toyota Fortuner In Pattaya

I thought Fortuna was diesel but never mind, there is an old thread running in the Motoring Forum HERE which starts off talking about gas conversions for CRVs but gets into Fortunas later on. Might be an interesting read for opinions.

No detail on local fitting in Pattaya obviously.

Get an expensive car and then try to save on gasoline :o

Would you rather do the reverse ?

Yermanee :jap:

Simply if I can afford to spend 1.5 millions Baht for a car I suppose I could afford to spend 40 or more baht/litre for gas without to be worry. IMHO.

BTW most of Fortuner are Diesel

Obviously it is even possible to convert diesel trucks to CNG/NGV(natural gas).

The whole country is filled with such trucks, buses etc.

CNG is the real economic and environmentally solution, BUT availability is still a mess (maybe queing for hours).

LPG is quite straighforward and easily available.

Can not find the price for LPG, but the advantage is quite huge.

For CNG even higher (cost about 10 Baht/kg).

Prices are highly subsidised and may rise soon for political reasons.
