What are the red arrows for? Are they a hint for those with little imagination?

Seems to indicate Karma can only lead to a bad result. Kind of cute, but in a negative kind of way. One can only wonder on the intent of the man pushing over the domino. Was it to give him more breathing room? Let in more light? To save a life?

I think of Karma as a vehicle to a better me (either in this life, or in another).
