Can anyone tell me if an air carrier operates between Bangkok and Korat/Nakhon Ratchasima?

Ive searched the net and can only see Air Andaman doing a service but cannot find an up to date timetable or even website!

I used Thai Air several years ago. The Thai Air website should have information their flights.

It only takes around 4 hours by bus from Bangkok.

Good luck.

the flight takes about 40 minutes , the drive out to the airport from korat takes longer

used to cost about 700 baht!

take the bus,...

TG and Air Asia used to fly BKK - Korat but they both terminated the service after a few months into operation. Believe there's no scheduled flights between Bangkok and Korat now.

There is NO airline service for this route, 100% sure about my statement.

best bet is taxi to Mo-Chit then a bus, or even get a Taxi to take you Korat town, best fare I have ever has 1600thb.

Cheeky_Farang is correct. A few months ago my wife had business in Korat and asked me to Internet book a flight. Went to every domestic carrier website and none had Korat listed. Found another site (don't remember where) that said due to cost cutting the Korat service had been canceled.

this is in fact Thailands most freqeunt long-dist busroute, with a dedicted bus ev 10 mins or so/daytime, and they DO also even stop across from the airport/intern/term 1, near Wat Don Muang, taking just 3 hrs or so from there.

Besides Kho-Rat also Mae Sot and Phrae lost ANY airlink. Andaman has gone broke/busted early '05 and Phu-air; most here now, also out of bisnis
