I have a knee that will eventually need a replacement (unless cartilage grafts are improved) and when I investigated I felt India was the best place in the region to do it as they have specialty clinics and surgeons with a lot of experience. In my opinion I would be most concerned with the experience of the surgeon and the facility second. I think experience is essential with all the different sizing of implants, types of implants and individual situations often calling for split second decisions when on the table. Dr. Mason and Dr. Panya at Bumrungrad are the two ortho surgeons most often recommended for knee surgery. i assume they do replacements but not 100% certain. It won't be cheap, though.
