Thanyaburi Mac
There's a discount on the MRT Subway in Bangkok, forget what it is, but it's there. Just show some document with your age, 60 and above, I think, or your grey hair. Mac

simon43
I get a discount in the local barber shop for having less hair than the locals - 80 baht and they pay 100 baht.

And will they give it foreigners if they ask? The regular and children tickets are nearly twice the price for foreigners
paulian
The Boxing Stadium in Pattaya not only doesn't give a discount to seniors, and also charges 5 times the price Thai's pay to view boxing unless you want "VIP" seats, than it's 8 times what the Thai's pay. Major cinema in Pattaya charges seniors 80 Bt for most movies and discounts the special ones, like the 3d's.

There is a smallish discount on the Airport Link for old'uns, but only if you are Thai.
TAWP
Why should there be a senior discount on general services? Surviving to a high age, what an achievement. Well, given how some of you live, I suppose it is...
dantilley
And will they give it foreigners if they ask? The regular and children tickets are nearly twice the price for foreigners I tried once and they said no, however I didn't really press the issue. I think they would if you argued the point that it doesn't say "Thai senior citizens", it just says "senior citizens" who get the discount.
