Rimmer Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 One dead and another seriously injured in hit-and-run accident in Jomtien PATTAYA: -- A hit-and-run accident in Jomtien resulted in the death of a woman and serious injuries sustained to her friend. The incident occurred on the new Jomtien Second Road, in front of the Rompor Market and resulted in the death of Khun Prapatsala aged 27 and serious injuries sustained to her friend known only as “Jeab”, who was sent to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital. Witnesses to the accident, which occurred just after 4am on Saturday stated the pair were hit by a Toyota Vios, however the color and license plate of the offending vehicle were not known. According to friends of the victim, the pair were crossing the road and were intending to go to an Internet Shop when they were hit.
