Search For Floor Tiles In The North

Need a limited amount (25-30 tiles) of 16 X 16 Canberra Brown tiles to replace damaged tiles on basement floor. Produced in Thailand by Duragress Company, but now no longer in production. Looking for stock on hand in a HomePro or some outlet. HomePro (all) in Chiang Mai is out of stock. Finders fee offered to person who identifies store where I ultimately purchase these tiles. Thanks!

Not sure if these will help but on the south side of town...................

On the 3029 middle ring road which you have already been on to access Home Pro at Big C, there is Global House, a Km or so past the river bridge on the left. A bit further past there on the right at the start of the railway flyover is a smaller shop and if you go 7.5km past the superhighway, just before the 118 on the left is Home Sukkapan. Never been in there but people tell me its good. On the Hangdong road out of town, nearly opposite Kad Farang there is a rather large Captain paint sign. One of the shops around there used to carry a number of tiles but I havn't been aorund there for a while.

Big old tile shop on Chotanaa Rd just about across the street from the soi that goes into Tops. Also Nopadon Panit. The older shops are perhaps more likely to have some as the new shops often just order when someone wants it and keep little or no stock.

One chance on the north side and too often overlooked.

If Canberra Brown has anything to do with Australia, try the Australian-Thai outfit on the left of the (route 118) Chiang Rai road.

Pass (or try to) the awful overspill of Sansai market, just north of the Central Ring Rd cross roads, and just after the Petronas gas.

They have lots of ornamental red bricks and questionable garden ornaments out front, but a Very nice range of floor tiles.

They'll get them from Bkk if they are not in stock. Ask for Mike.
