Have 2 laptop batteries and many worn out rechargeable AA batteries, and I know they are not supposed to be thrown away with regular trash. Does anyone know where I should take them for proper disposal?

Had that same question. Finally brought the old batteries and cartridges with me to Holland and disposed them there.

There is supposedly one at air port mall.

It's regularly filled up with dead florescent lights, old tv tubes, and batteries of all sorts.
