Lizard2010
Were going to stay near the Iron Bridge, just south of the Narawat Bridge. Any where close to get ground coffee. To bring back to OZ.
MilesCh
Why would you want ground coffee when excellent quality whole beans are grown & available everywhere in Thailand? Ground coffee will stale quickly no matter how it's stored. If you don't care about the flavor, don't bother bringing coffee back home.
prism
You'll be close to the Rimping supermarket. They have a good selection of coffees. Agree with Miles, whole bean is better. Edited October 21, 2011 by prism

smiling mantis
I don't have a grinder. Maybe i should invest in one One word of warning... it makes about the same amount of sound as a blender. I'm usually running my blender in the evening, for cocktails, and the neighbors don't mind. But the coffee grinder gets run first thing in the AM, and for some, it can be too much. At one apartment I actually had to resort to wrapping a pillow around the thing for my morning coffee.
