Thaksin to definitely return in December: Kwanchai

Kwanchai Priaphana, the chairman of Udon Thani Loving Club, said former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra would return to Thailand in December.

"He will 100-per cent return to Thailand in December 2011 because he misses Thailand a lot and he wants to come back home," Kwanchai was quoted by INN news agency as saying.

Kwanchai: Thaksin buys pumps from Korea for govt to mitigate flooding

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has ordered pumps from Korea for the government of his sister, Yingluck Shinwatra, to use for draining floodwaters, a red-shirt leader said.

INN news agency Tuesday quoted Kwanchai Priaphana, the chairman of Udon Thani Loving Club, as saying that Thaksin had ordered many pumps and they should be delivered to Thailand by Wednesday.

Well if that is true, it will certianly tug at the heart strings of the Thai's. It will possibly assist in opening the door for his return, it definitely wont hurt.

Bet those pumps don't go where they are most needed, they will only go to Red districts ;)

And maybe not even there. After all, the story says the pumps were ordered. Eventual delivery and actual payment, well, that's another question.

Gonna need pumps the size of an aircraft carrier for this one. Oh sorry, we had access to an aircraft carrier's helicopters, fresh water capabilities, medical staff, ancillary equipment etc. Not needed, it seems

Well, He'll be back, maybe.....

He has ordered pumps, maybe....

He will trigger another round of political fights, surely....He will trigger a new coup, most certainly...

But now GK is going to explain us again that extremely VIP (but will not name them, but we will all be completely amazed) have secretely met with Taksin some times ago, and that all is already arranged....

Anyway, let him come back, and the circus to start again. After all the sh*t that this country has faced, is facing now, that is certainly NOT what it needs....

No one forced him to leave Thailand.

Now is not the greatest time to talk of these things as there are more pressing issues. However, something has happened that has seen the army and government find common ground (no SOE needed) and the army move away publically from the Dems (SOE needed), so anything is possible. However, Khwanchai bringing it up now is not exactly appropriate although how much weight Khwanchai carries right now is moot as he has been criticized by most red shirt readers in recent weeks

... and why didn't she think of ordering more pumps a few weeks ago?

'Think', that's a big word for Thailand.

A puppet does not think. It takes orders from a master.

Since I'm sure he'll want to help all those poor people in trouble, which has always been his number one goal, I suppose we'll next see that he suggests that any/all confiscated funds of his be used first to build waterworks infrastructure across the country, second to rebuild or refurbish all destroyed residences, and thirdly to hire some competent government officials while he sends the ones he previously chose to high school tutorial classes.

The only thing that would make this more unbelievable is that it came from pr Armstrong and company or Jataporn or whatever the motormouths name is. Reminded of a hypochondriac in reverse gear (also known as snake oil salesman) I have a cure for whatever aliments (innumerable)you/I have.

The what club?

I think judging by its name it is possibly some sort of wife swapping / swingers club for residents of Udo. Maybe Taksins is a member!!

Was this why they refused the US navy? Politics with peoples lives. Criminal!

Maybe US wanted to help for free. No corruption of free help.

But if everything is destroyed you can sack in a 30 % on every order for repair work...

Foodlover: You really don't have any idea about economics and politics.

Where the pumps go isn't interesting at all. important is that the kickbacks are going in the right direction.

Mr. T won't pay the pumps from the own cash, I think.

I'll take that bet and double you.

The pumps will be stuck in the port because the duty will be argued over and the paper work will be such that it will be weeks before they get to where they are needed.

30%, did I hear 30%? Is that why the banned lady is suddenly popping her head up?

Was Kwanchai a bit worried that Thaksin hadn't been in the news?

And if this was true that the puppeteer had ordered pumps from Korea, would it be kwanchai who would be given the role of making the announcement? Doubt it?
