Wifi In Chon Buri? Where?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I need to work and my 3G card is slow as piss at the moment.

I want to go somewhere there is good wifi around here where I can also stick my laptop into the power point also.

Anyone know any god places around here?

Thanks

Is your 3G card AIS? Perhaps the McDonalds in the Central Festival Centre?

That's why. There is only AIS 3G in Chonburi AFAIK.

What are you using in which to place your SIM?

If you are using a 3G modem that utilises the UMTS 850MHz frequency, you might strike it lucky with a TRUE 3G SIM.

If so, what is the full model number of your modem?

I am using a 3G USB card.

Maybe I will go out today and buy a AIS card then.

I might just go for a drive around and see if I can find a coffee shop or pub who have wifi, bound to be some around.

Full model number of your USB card? It might be that you only need to buy a TRUE SIM.

I already told you at Central Chonburi. They should have both WiFi and 3G coverage. Perhaps both TRUE and AIS. Both also offer HotSpot access through their 3G packages.

Off to bed.

Assume the OP means Chonburi city and not Pattaya!

No idea on True 3G coverage in Chonburi, and neither AIS. AIS originally had only coverage in Bang Saen.

Pattaya city has both AIS and True, with AIS having the largest coverage area.
