I have posted this on the health site too but

Our housemaid is pregnant (luckily married) and Burmese. She is on some sort of restricted residence visa and only allowed to roam in Bangna. If she is found outside this area she is normally 'tea money' fined. She could however be deported. Therein lies the problem. The hospital she has been assined for pre natal care and delivery is in Silom somewhere. Apart from the 3 hours it takes her to get there on the bus she is normally spied out by the boys in brown and fined.

My question is this. Can I take her to a local govt. hospital and if so, which one. How much roughly would it cost. I am prepared to pay for her care but we are not made of money.
