tropo
I'm really looking forward to this fight after the Pacquiao vs Mosley and Mayweather vs Ortiz snoozefests earlier this year. Hopefully we could be in for a treat. The complete Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight card are as follows. Main Event (PPV) WBO Welterweight Championship - Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez PPV Undercard Super Lightweight Championship - Timothy Bradley vs Joel Casamayor Jr. Welterweight bout - Mike Alvarado vs Bredis Presscott Luis Cruz vs Juan Carlos Burgos *PPV televised opening bout *The main PPV event will be televised starting 9PM ET/6PM PT I'm guessing that the fight will be telecast live on ASTRO Supersport on Sophon TV. Can anyone confirm this? Edited November 9, 2011 by tropo

melsnet
Not scheduled to be televised by Astro at the moment. That's not to say Thai tv will not show the fight.
tropo
on paper this looks like another boring fight and an easy payday for pacman....marquez is washed up, has no power, and goes down way too easily. would be nice to see pacquiao fight a young tough up and comer or against all odds, mayweather instead of all these punch drunk also rans.....marquez stuck the joint out against mayweather previously... Don't make too much of the Mayweather - Marquez snoozefest on September 19, 2009. Apart from the fact that Mayweather, because of his defensive style produces too many boring fights, there's some other facts which must be taken into consideration: 1. Marquez fought Juan Diaz at 135 lbs on February 28, 2009. He fought Mayweather only 6 1/2 months later 2 weight classes above his normal weight at 146 lbs. That was the official fight weight because Mayweather came in 2 lbs over the agreed 144 lbs for that fight. That's a huge jump in weight over a very short period and he looked soft and out of condition, which was to be expected. 2. Pacquaio - Marquez was fought only 1 1/2 years earlier on March 15, 2008 and was an extremely exciting match and a candidate for fight of the year that year. 3. Marquez is currently number 5 on the Ring Magazine pound for pound list. Not a bad feat for a "washed up" old fighter, eh? 4. Marquez is training completely differently to his preparation for the Mayweather fight 2 years ago. He's looking very buff and conditioned. Obviously after his poor showing 2 years earlier they had to revamp his preparation afterall he's got a very good coach. 5. Bookmakers and many people such as yourself are not taking Marquez seriously but Manny Pacquiao is. He's training like a demon possessed.
