November 10, 201114 yr All you can eat Buffett at the Sea Sand hotel on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. All my Brit friends like it and I thought it was good. The Gazette has a listing for it in the events section. Mr India is good but the place never looks clean to me.
November 11, 201114 yr Sabai Sabai, Tajna road, Kata Fantastic food, they have left the 99 baht curries promotion and moved slightly up in price and larger servings. Best Nan in Phuket. Restaurant is not that great, but food is

Butter chicken is perfect. it looks slightly better than it used to, and first time I went it was with friends, and I would not have gone there as drop in but food is one of the best Indian in Phuket, my favorites are as above, chicken tikka masala and lamb korma, and I have become addicted The chef, Shiva, used to work for an upmarket Indian in Phuket
November 11, 201114 yr I have tried them all and I will tell and IMO the only good one is indeed Sabai Sabai on Thaina Rd. next to Calypso Divers opposite Kata Pharmacy. Best tikkiamasala and butter chicken, naan and onion baji I have ever had. Run by a Neapalese couple Shiva and Sumee. They just renovated so place looks better than it did previously. Only downside is it has a small kitchen so if you are picking up call at least 30 minutes before. Food can take a looong time but it's well worth it. 083 639 5875 or 087 385 2206. Agree with all the above posts,Sabai Sabai is the best indian around, although taking off the 99baht curries, then selling the same curry at 180 was a bit surprising,as i don't think the portions are that much bigger. Still eat there regardless, and as Scubba Buddha said, you can wait up to 30 mins even if there's no-one in there, well worth the wait tho'. PST.
November 11, 201114 yr My favorite is in the shopping arcade in Kamala at the south end of the beach. For some reason the lamb/goat there is so much tender than other establishments.
