Vessels entering Mexican waters with firearms or ammunition on board must have a permit previously issued by the Mexican Embassy, or a Mexican consulate. Mariners do NOT avoid prosecution by declaring their weapons at the port of entry. Before traveling, mariners who have obtained a Mexican firearms permit should contact Mexican port officials to receive guidance on the specific procedures used to report and secure weapons and ammunition. Entering Mexico with a firearm, some kinds of knives or even a single round of ammunition is illegal, even if the firearm or ammunition is taken into Mexico unintentionally. The Mexican government strictly enforces its laws restricting the entry of firearms and ammunition along all land borders and at air and seaports. Violations have resulted in arrests, convictions, and long prison sentences for U.S. citizens.

As a caveat to the seriousness of gun offenses in Mexico, not to long ago a San Diego police officer in a marked patrol car missed his exit and "accidentally" drove into Mexico. Mexican Federal Police arrested him and charged him with several weapons charges.

gun not Th lisenced, illegal on shore. fully atomatic guns can not be lisenced in TH.

a lisenced gun can not hold more than 10 bullets, in this case it seems to be holding 26

when transporting lisenced gun, gun in car needs to be in trunk, and bullets separated from gun, like in locked glovecompartment,

these guys are in deep shit

The photo in PG and shown above is a stock photo of a bog standard Colt M16-A2. If it truly is a Bushmaster XM-15 e2s, which judging by the picture at the online-news-source-which-cannot-be-named, it looks possible, then it is likely only a semi automatic. The XM-15 can only be ordered in full auto or 3 round burst by a military or police force. A 30 round mag is standard on all M-16 variants since the 80's. One thing they teach is you risk over-compressing the spring if you keep more than 28 rounds in it, thus, I'm guessing, the reason for the 26 rounds in the mag. A 30 round mag with 26-28 rounds in it suggests to me he may have had at least some formal training.

a TH lisenced semi auto with capacity of 30 bullets, can only hold 10 bullets to be within lisence

just like my Glock 19s mags can hold 15 each, but TH lisence limits it to hold max 10 to be used legally. 10 considered sufficient for self defence

but in this case its been revealed its a Philipine purchase, so not TH lisenced
