there are 50,000 of us "non-military" personnel over here now.  You are always going to have bad eggs-every now and then you read of pedophiles being busted in pattaya or some other spot in Thailand...are you one of those pedos?  Of course not-the bad eggs are taken care of here.  If you noticed, they are caught.  My company "foots" our internet access because it is a little hard to send reports by auto around here-my company is world-wide and even is assisting in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the U.S.  Yes, I make a lot more money than you :o ... a LOT more money than you and that is because I have the background and skills that are needed over here.  Some are born for battle and others...well, that is what adult diapers are for.  As the kids say these days "Hate the game, not the player".

Wow, you certainly are a bit defensive? Not sure why that is as you seem to have a lot of confidence and are clearly patriotic, based on your previous military service. It is evident that your motivation now is more monetary, and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. Your hyper-defensiveness is illustrated in your uncontrollable urge to accuse and defame without provocation (“…are you one of those pedos?”), your braggadocio (“Yes, I make a lot more money than you ... a LOT more money than you…”) and your need to belittle others (“…and others...well, that is what adult diapers are for.”).

It seems like you may be a bit uncomfortable with your roles in Iraq, and that you are unable to discern between friend or foe, at least in a real-world situation. Your first reaction is to lash out, and this may cause problems for you in the future. I suggest that you may need some time re-adjusting to the real-world, be it Pattaya or Pittsburgh, as will most of the combat veterans of the on-going conflicts. I only hope that the VA can provide the necessary medical and psychological support systems for those who sacrificed so much?

I certainly understand the requirement for internet access, who wouldn’t. I was merely interested in who was paying for your internet access (you, your company, the U.S. government, the U.S. taxpayers), and if there were any rules or oversight regarding the personal use of your internet service. I do not feel that there should be any rules against the reasonable personal use of the internet for employees while they are supposed to be performing their primary job. That said, some might contend that your original post does not constitute “reasonable personal use”.

BTW, who said anything about “hating either the game or the player?” No reasonable U.S. citizen could possibly ‘hate’ the players, players being those serving in the armed forces and those otherwise endeavoring to make the situation better. Questioning the integrity, and motivations, of those who forced the Iraq invasion and subsequent occupation, on a gullible and deliberately misinformed public, seems like a reasonable thing to do? Such a questioning should not be considered to beun-patriotic, nor is it a sign of anger or hatred.

Most around here, we do "win their hearts and minds". Most trouble makers are from across the border. With them, we just want to show them theirs hearts...right before they die. I tagged that from a movie line I think. :D

From a ######ing movie :o What ######ing world are you living in you jerk off :D You may be a rear echelon blanket counter / computer data imputer / non-combatant type of prick, but you DO NOT represent the reality of what is REALLY happening there. My Godness, you had a 122mm shell go off about 1 KLm from you :D You must have been really shitting yourself. You are certainly a different kinda cat than the ones I worked with on active sevice.

I'm former artillery man, Captain Chaos. Booms mean nothing to us. I spent three weeks charging across this country providing fires for V Corps, which also included the Marines. I spend another five months providing security operations between Baghdad and Tikrit. A Klik out ain't nothin', hardcore. If you don't get dirt on you then it ain't close. Besides, if you can see it, you can detect it, then you can counter-fire it...no more bad guy. It was a rocket, not a shell. They're too afraid to get close enough to fire mortars at us. And I hate computers, Superman. Only the dead shat themselves, by the way, the living just have momentary loss of bowel functions. The second most exciting experience of my life was combat and the first...falling in love with a Thai girl. War is for the young and the bold and I am no longer that young or that bold. It will always be a part of me but stoney lads like you wouldn't understand. And I thought I had issues...don't worry, son, you can always read about it in books.

I'm former artillery man.....Yep! the artillery are in the rear.

Booms mean nothing to us....Yep! because you are so far behind the line you wouldnt hear the angry sound of a 7.62 mm or .50 cal incomming

I spent three weeks charging across this country providing fires for V Corps, which also included the Marines...... I am sure your fires kept them all warn at night.

I spend another five months providing security operations between Baghdad and Tikrit...... From the rear I am sure.

A Klik out ain't nothin'.... of course it isnt, if you are are not in the front line.

The second most exciting experience of my life was combat and the first...falling in love with a Thai girl.......there is nothing exciting about combat, but falling in love with a Thai is exciting

War is for the young and the bold and I am no longer that young or that bold. It will always be a part of me....... And for me too. Though I try not to think about it too much these days.

but stoney lads like you wouldn't understand......Drr, 23 years of digging holes in the ground to keep my pretty face intact from all that you have faced from the rear. I understand more than I want to.

And I thought I had issues......mate you do have issues, you are portraying yourself as a been there done that and came back for the money so I can live in Thailand with my girlfriend who dosent realize how much money I make and I can tell everyone about my war stories.

don't worry, son, you can always read about it in books.....too late for that. I have seen more than enough carnage in the front line to fill a hundred books....and I sincerley hope you never experience it.
