Murder and suicide as Jomtien couple fail to restart failed relationship

PATTAYA: -- A man, who failed to negotiate a new relationship with his former lover, shot and killed her and then turned the gun on himself. On Sunday Morning Police were called to a clothes shop in the Na-Jomtien area and were confronted by a scene of chaos. The shop owner, Khun Ganidar aged 33 was confronted by her estranged boyfriend as she opened the store on Sunday Morning. The confrontation followed previous threats through Facebook that unless they could restart their relationship, it would not end well. Khun Ganidar’s mother, Khun Gingfar aged 54 explained to Police that her daughter had been in a relationship with Khun Parsai aged 43 for the last 2 years and they had one child together. For the last 3 months the pair had been separated. Khun Parsai, who was living in Nontaburi Province, north of Bangkok, was forced to relocate due to the floods and rented a room close to the store and had attempted to communicate with his former girlfriend on numerous occasions.
