74 year old homeless fisherman shot in the backside as he sleeps in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- A 74 year old homeless fisherman was shot in his backside in the early hours of Wednesday, as he slept on the pavement. Police and rescue workers were called to a recreational area close to the Sattahip Navy Base and attended to Khun Pien while his 44 year old wife, Khun Nim looked on. Three empty bullet casings were found at the scene and according to the victim, this was not the first time someone had tried to hurt him. On this occasion a motorbike approached the area and the driver, with his face concealed by a white safety helmet, parked beside him and shot at him. He then left the scene at speed. According to Khun Pien, earlier this year, he had assisted the wife of a Navy Officer, to overcome a serious illness, using herbal remedies. The treatment was unsuccessful and she passed away.
