Long Term Car Rental

I am looking into renting a car (or truck) for a couple of months. I have heard that you can rent for as cheap as 10,000 baht per month, but i have no idea if this is true or not.

does anyone have any information or contact details for long term car rental in (or around) BKK?

yeah, that would be great, count me in too. my wife never let's me use the car, even though i pay for the stupid thing... :o heheh!

i could totally use a second car. that way i wouldn't have to ask permission to go out :D !!

is rental possible? what about licensing, tax, insurance, etc...?

how does that all work out?

I've been renting a car for 6 months now. The first car had premium insurance covered in the rental price. The second also is covered by insurance but as it's a cheaper deal & older model (12 000 baht a mth) I pay the first 5000 baht if I have a mishap.

I am on Phuket but surely there are rental companies in BKK that will rent long term. Check out the classifieds ads also. :o
